So you’ve got this guy, Shingo, just your average 25-year-old working stiff. He’s all ready to hit the hay and get some shut-eye before another crazy day at the office. But when he wakes up, he’s not in his own bed. Nope, he’s in some random room he’s never seen before.

Turns out, he’s somehow taken over the mind of a 6-year-old kid. And not just any kid – this little guy, Wendelin von Benno Baumeister, is the youngest of a poor noble family. Talk about a change of scenery!

But here’s the kicker: Wendelin’s got this insane magical talent. Like, off-the-charts powerful. Sounds awesome, right? Well, not so much. See, in Wendelin’s world, having magic can be a curse, not a blessing.

Now Shingo’s stuck in this wild new world, trying to find his place and make a name for himself. It’s a rough ride, but hey, somebody’s gotta do it. And that somebody just happens to be Wendelin, with Shingo along for the ride.
